60-Minute Sessions
Dogs 12 Weeks & Older
Handler Skills You Keep
Chicago, IL
WHO THIS IS FOR
Built for owners who want to lead their dog, not just manage them.
Private sessions put you on the field — not on the sideline. You'll build real communication, real leadership, and real control that holds up outside the training environment.
New Puppy Owners
Ready to build strong foundations from week one — before bad habits form.
Handlers Who Want to Level Up
You've done the basics but want sharper leash mechanics and more reliable focus in real environments.
Struggling with the Basics
Pulling, jumping, ignoring cues — one-on-one work breaks the cycle faster than any group class.
New Puppy Owners
You understand that what happens between sessions is what makes the difference. You'll practice.
HOW IT WORKS
Simple process. No guesswork.
Each session is structured so you leave with clarity — not just notes you'll forget.
1
Book Online
Pick your session time directly on the booking calendar. No back-and-forth.
2
Show Up Ready
Bring your dog, your leash, and your full attention. That's it.
3
Train Together
You and your dog learn side by side. You're not watching — you're doing.
4
Practice Between
You leave with clear homework. What happens off the clock is what creates change.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Everything in the session. Nothing unnecessary.
Private sessions are focused and intentional. Here's what you get every time you walk in.
60-Minute One-on-One Session
Full hour with your trainer — no split attention, no rotating dog groups.
Hands-On Handler Coaching
You're in the session actively — building your timing, your mechanics, and your communication.
Session Summary & Homework
You'll leave knowing exactly what to practice and how — no vague takeaways.
Issue-Focused Work
Leash pulling, jumping, recall, crate training, reactivity management — we address what's actually causing friction.
Context for Why It Works
You'll understand the reasoning, not just the steps — so you can problem-solve on your own.
WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH
Results that stay with you.
The skills you build in sessions are yours. Your dog learns because you learned.
01
Clear, confident leash communication — control that doesn't depend on equipment tricks or brute force.
03
The ability to handle setbacks and bad days without unraveling — because you understand what's happening and why.
02
Your dog's genuine attention and check-ins, even around distractions — because you've become worth listening to.
04
A stronger relationship built on structure and trust — not bribery, luck, or hoping your dog "grows out of it."
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Before you book — read this.
Aggression Cases Are Not Eligible
Dogs with moderate to severe aggression are not candidates for private sessions. For safety and real results, Board & Train is the appropriate path. We'll tell you directly if that's the case.
Results Depend on What You Do Between Sessions
One session a week won't move the needle if nothing is being practiced at home. Owners who commit to daily homework see results. Owners who don't, don't.
Sessions Are for Dogs 12 Weeks and Older
Puppies can start as early as 12 weeks. Early training is one of the highest-leverage investments you can make for the next 10-15 years.
Packages Exist for a Reason
Single sessions are available, but real behavioral change takes repetition. If you're dealing with anything beyond basic manners, a package will give you the continuity to see genuine results.
PRICING
Straightforward options.
No surprises.
Pick the option that matches where you are and how serious you are about making progress.
Single sessions are $275/hr. The 5-session package brings that down to $250/session — the best option if you're working through a real issue and committed to seeing it through.
